Come January 1st, the nation seems to undergo an incredible change. People emerge blinking from their homes and suddenly begin to start pounding the pavements, dressed in brand new designer trainers and workout gear... in supermarkets, sales of vegetables and fruit soar and suddenly the shopper behind you is buying packets of lentils and linseeds, when you clearly remember their usual basket of red wine, steak and chocolate... everyone starts signing up to evening classes in Swahili or basket weaving and pubs and bars mysteriously seem a little quieter, as the usual crowds busy themselves at the gym... However by about January 3rd, normal service tends to be resumed. The enthusiastic joggers have pulled a muscle and returned to watching the evening soaps from their sofas. The health nuts have realised that they don't know how to cook a lentil and that curry is far tastier... takeouts begin to do bustling business again and the clubs and bars do booming business again, as everyone attempts to drink away the wretched month of January! Yes, New Year's resolutions are fairly pointless with the majority of us giving them up as soon as we've made them! However, there are other times of year when making plans and 'resolutions' suddenly seems to be a more viable option - when we're more energetic, enthused and the weather and daylight hours are on our side! Traditional 'planning' times of year include Easter - particularly the Bank Holidays when DIY truly begins on an epic scale, and September, when the new academic year begins for school children and the rest of us seem to regain that feeling of 'new starts'. One really useful tool for planning out your projects, visits, activities and general options for the coming weeks and months is a diary or calendar. However, most of these only start in January or September, which leaves a lack of options for the rest of the year and a half wasted calendar! However, help is at hand - and in the most stylish of ways, with Personalised Calendars starting at any month you choose! Fresh Starts and Your Name in Lights with Personalised Calendars Personalised calendars are relatively new in the gift market but have already become a firm favourite amongst those in the know! Unlike most traditional versions, personalised calendars start on any month you choose - and what's more, when you specify your month in your order, you also provide the name of your lucky gift recipient, choose the theme you are interested in, and the techie whizz kids will create the resulting gift for you! The personalised calendars come in a wide variety of themes and designs. For example, there are food inspired personalised calendars for those who love to eat the finest of cuisines (particularly chocolate), wedding themes for those planning their big day - and romantic themes for those still in the first flushes of love! A baby calendar is a lovely gift for an expectant mum and film buffs will love the movie themed personalised calendars. There's even an X-Factor version for those who are mad fans of the show! There are three different sizes - from a wall version at A4, to two desk versions, one standard and one mini. Each page features one month, with a high quality glossy image from your personalised calendars theme. The name of your loved one is incorporated into the photo itself - for example, it might be spelt out in a sky full of fireworks, or be drawn in the sand on a beach - or maybe piped onto a cupcake! The front cover also bears the recipient's name and a message from you, with up to 150 characters available. Each of the personalised calendars comes packaged - plainly of course so your gift isn't discovered by prying eyes! - And also has a white envelope within the packaging, so you can post your personalised calendars if you wish to gift them to a relative or friend who lives away. They might be a great gift for a grandparent or auntie, or maybe a friend that you've not seen in a while - or even for Mother's Day! Either way your gift will be very well received as it's both thoughtful and practical - and of extremely high quality. Your lucky loved one will surely wish to display it for all visitors to see and wonder at - the technical work of the personalised images is really something! Even better, the calendar is a perfect excuse for your loved one to start booking in fantastic events and activities for you both to enjoy in the year ahead - so everyone's a winner!
